Liverpool cruised into the Carabao Cup final with a thumping 4-0 win over Tottenham at Anfield.
The Reds needed a big performance in-front of their home fans after the losing the first-leg in North London.
Things started slightly slowly at Anfield, but Liverpool soon grabbed control of the tie.
Cody Gakpo’s equaliser was well-timed 10 minutes before half-time, and from that point on, the result never really felt in doubt.
It was a supreme display from Liverpool, who were on it to a man during the second-half.
And after seeing his team disintegrate at the last hurdle before Wembley, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou admitted that the Reds were ‘just too good’ on the night.

Poastecoglou has become something of a pantomime villain at times for Liverpool fans since his appointment in 2023.
The man on the other end of the infamous Luis Diaz VAR debacle last season, the Spurs boss had little sympathy for the Reds at the time.

And although Postecoglou is a boyhood Liverpool fan, he has rarely seemed to speak well of them since his time at Tottenham.
That changed on Thursday, when the Australian told ITV that Liverpool deserved credit for dismantling Spurs in the manner they did.

“Credit to Liverpool, they were way too good for us,” said Postecoglou.
We allowed them to get control pretty early and they made it difficult for us to get back into the game.
“When they get into a rhythm especially here at home they’re hard to stop.”
After the heroics of Jurgen Klopp’s kids in the showpiece last year, Liverpool look set to have a much more full squad for the 2025 Carabao Cup final.
The Reds currently have only one injury to worry about, with Trent Alexander-Arnold the only player missing right now.
But with the final not booked in until the 16th of March, Alexander-Arnold should be back fit.
Newcastle will pose a big test for the Reds, with the Magpies in terrific form under Eddie Howe.
If they play the way they did on Thursday, though, Liverpool are going to be incredibly hard to beat.
