Harry Kane looks to have ruled out a return to the Premier League this summer, having found himself being linked with a shock transfer to Liverpool recently.
Although the Reds are on course to win the Premier League title, with 12 points separating them from Arsenal heading into the final nine games of the campaign, it has become clear in recent weeks that Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes will have plenty of work to do in the summer transfer window.
Among Liverpool’s priorities will be a new No.9.
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez have both been touted as potential options, with Liverpool having shown an interest for the latter last summer when he was in the process of leaving Manchester City.
Kane’s name has also surprisingly featured in the past week or so, with suggestions that the England captain might be eyeing up a return to the Premier League.
Not only that, but Liverpool has been claimed to be the favorite for his signature.
While it’s a transfer that seems highly unlikely, it is one that has received backing from some pundits.
“I don’t know where they come from, but for sure I’m happy here at Bayern Munich.”
Kane is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2027, with some suggestions that he may have a release clause in his deal which may facilitate a return to the Premier League at some point.

I’m not thinking about any other league or any other team.
“With football, I like to just go with the flow and at the moment the flow is here at Bayern Munich.”
