Liverpool face Manchester United on Sunday hoping to put another three points on the board.
The Reds have blown away the competition so far in the Premier League this season, including their mortal enemies, United.
The Red Devils currently sit in 14th place in the Premier League table and must be dreading a weekend trip to Anfield.
One thing that United always find difficult when facing Liverpool is containing Mohamed Salah.
Salah has an incredible record against Man United, with the Old Trafford club statistically his favourite to face as a Liverpool player.
And as the Egyptian King looks to polish his throne in another big game, former Liverpool star Luis Garcia has backed him to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Salah is by far and away the most effective player in the Premier League this season.
With 30 goal contributions in total, the 32-year-old is well on course to win the division’s Player of the Season award.

According to former Man United defender Rio Ferdinand, Salah could win the 2025 Ballon d’Or, too.
Salah was not nominated for the 2024 edition, but speaking to ESPN FC, Garcia suggested that he agreed with Ferdinand.

“It’s not that bold but I would like to see Mo Salah winning the Ballon d’Or,” said the Spaniard.
“He hasn’t been in the conversations lately, we’ve been talking a lot about Rodri, about Vinicius Jnr and Lamine Yamal’s introduction as a possible Ballon d’Or winner and no one is talking about Mo Salah and what he’s been doing.”
“17 goals, 13 assists so far this season,” adds Garcia.
“He has the chance of winning the Premier League, the Champions League and being one of the most important players in Europe.
“He’s one of the most in-form at the moment and I would like to see him lifting that trophy.”
Garcia might feel that no one is talking about this, but the rest of the footballing world may disagree.
Although many people will place no value in them, individual awards have grown in popularity over the years and none are more prestigious than the Ballon d’Or.

With the trophy now awarded over the course of a season rather than a calendar year, no one is matching Salah so far in 2024/25.
Across Europe’s top five leagues, there isn’t a single player who can match Mo’s 17-goal league tally so far, while in terms of goals and assists combined, the closest to Liverpool’s No.11 is compatriot Omar Marmoush, a full 10 involvements behind.
Looking at the three players Garcia mentions, Rodri will not be in the running, while Vinicius has 14 goals in all competitions and Yamal has six.
