Liverpool may not have too much longer to wait before they are officially crowned Premier League champions.

The Reds have six top-flight fixtures left to play this season but could see the title wrapped up well before the end of the campaign.

Arne Slot's side are currently 13 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table after their win over West Ham last weekend.



The result means that Liverpool need a maximum of six points to guarantee their status as league champions.

This weekend will see Liverpool travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.

Even though the Reds are two wins away from securing the title, a 20th top-flight crown can be secured before the end of the weekend if results go their way.

Victory against Leicester alone will not be enough for Liverpool to win the title this weekend.

A win for Liverpool against Leicester would mean they would need a minimum of three points and one win to be crowned champions.

If Arsenal were to draw against Ipswich, Liverpool would then need just four points going into the clash against Leicester.

could win the title with just a draw against Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.

Victories for both Arsenal and Liverpool this weekend would still mean that the Reds need just one win and three points to win the league, which could then come at home to Tottenham next Sunday.
