Liverpool rode their luck at times on Saturday but came away with an impressive 2-0 win over Bournemouth.
Some had predicted the Reds may struggle on the south coast after seeing Bournemouth go 12 games unbeaten.
But although the Cherries put up a good fight at the Vitality Stadium, two Mohamed Salah goals showed the difference in class between the two teams.
Had Justin Kluivert buried a gilt-edged chance at 1-0, though, things could have been very different.
Just minutes after Kluivert balooned over from a tight angle, Curtis Jones fed Salah who did the rest with a fine finish.
Jones received praise for the pass which was inch-perfect into his teammate’s pass.
And speaking after the game, the 24-year-old claimed that his introduction off the bench had been key to Liverpool winning.

It was something of a surprise to see Jones in the travelling Liverpool squad on Saturday.
The midfielder had missed the past two fixtures after picking up an injury against Lille in the Champions League.

Arne Slot did not include Jones in his Liverpool injury update on Friday, so it had been assumed that he was not quite ready yet.
However, Jones was deemed fit enough to be introduced with half an hour left to play.
And after setting up Salah for the game-clinching goal, the Liverpool academy graduate reflected on his display.

“It’s huge.
Away from home the fans as well can smell a little bit of blood, I wouldn’t say that we took our foot of the gas but a team like them they’re going to find a way to come back into the game and that’s what they did, they came close,” he told LFCTV.
“But I came on the pitch, I got an assist as well and I changed the game, so happy as well with that.”
As well as looking back on his performance on the south coast, Jones also provided an update on what had happened with his injury.
“I had a small injury on my MCL,” admitted the England international.
“I’m back after 10 days out and I’ve come back and impacted the game and that’s what I’m trying to do.”
Given that he played a good chunk of Saturday’s game, it’s probably safe to assume that Jones is completely available for Liverpool’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham on Thursday.
A good injury boost for the Reds on a day where Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up a knock.
