Giorgi Mamardashvili has reiterated his intention to depose Alisson Becker as Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper when he arrives in the summer.
Mamardashvili will join from Spanish side Valencia after the Reds agreed a £29million deal to sign the Georgia international last August.
The 24-year-old has experienced a difficult season with Valencia struggling near the bottom of La Liga and has kept just five clean sheets in 24 appearances.
Mamardashvili will join a strong goalkeeping contingent at Liverpool, where Alisson is the long-established number one with Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher his deputy and Czechia international Vitezslav Jaros the third choice.

And the Georgian is confident he can overcome his tough time in Spain this campaign and begin challenging for a regular starting role at Anfield.
"I am going to Liverpool to fight for the number one spot," he said.
"I will go there to train every day at Liverpool at my best but I don't know what they will decide.
But of course, I will overcome it because fortunately I have a strong mentality.
"I will overcome all this and I will be stronger and stronger every day and week."
Mamardashvili was speaking after Georgia's UEFA Nations League B/C play-off first leg in Armenia, during which he assisted a goal in his country's 3-0 win on Thursday.
