Liverpool used the Anfield crowd to their advantage against Brighton as they secured a fine 2-1 Premier League win.
Arne Slot called Anfield ‘incredible’ after the narrow victory which sent Liverpool back to the top of the Premier League table.
The Anfield fans were in fine voice against the Seagulls, where the hosts scored twice in two minutes to secure a superb comeback.
Alexis Mac Allister and Trent Alexander-Arnold were criticised despite the win, which puts the Reds two points ahead of Man City.
Dutchman Slot now has eight wins from his 10 Premier League matches in charge, with one draw and one loss.

The stalemate came at Arsenal last week, with the loss coming agianst surprise package Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
Sharing his thoughts on the latest result for Slot, former Everton and Man United manager David Moyes said on the Football Daily podcast: “I think it was huge, because to have two home defeats at Liverpool, it’s not the thing that they get too often.
“They’ve always been such a good team under Jurgen [Klopp], and so difficult to get a result at Anfield.
And I have to say, when he came in I thought, very difficult to follow Jurgen, it’s a bit like following Sir Alex, a bit like following some of the top managers who have been there for so long.
Never ever easy.

“But I have to say he’s done a great job, albeit it’s just about the same group of players as what they had last year.
But they have showed a bit of resilience yesterday coming back, because Brighton have impressed me as well through the season and started really steadily, played really good stuff.
“But you’ll know what it’s like, going to play at Anfield is incredible.
Once you get one goal the crowd are pulling the ball into the net, they really are, it’s some atmosphere there.”
Anfield’s record league attendance has been broken on several occasions throughout 2024, helped by the expansion of the Anfield Road Stand.
The latest record came in September, but unfortunately arrived in the shock 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, where 60,344 attended, as per the Liverpool website.
But Slot and his players have moved on since that defeat, although the tricky fixtures and busy schedule is not slowing down anytime soon.
