Fulham's Antonee Robinson has quashed rumors of a potential transfer to Liverpool, despite acknowledging his family's roots in the city.
Speaking to ESPN, he said: "I've been in the game long enough now to kind of know you have to block out the outside noise and things like that because I've been on the end of it when I've not been playing well.
You have to believe in yourself and when things are going bad, focus on yourself, and when things are going good, focus on keeping going."
The left-back admitted to being aware of the Liverpool links, with his family — who are from the city — often sending him articles about a potential move to Anfield.
However, he insisted that he tries not to pay attention to transfer speculation.
"Transfer rumors and stuff like that, I try not to look at," he added
"Especially like with the Liverpool one all my friends and family are from Liverpool, so it's more of them messaging me than me seeing newspaper stuff
And I have to say, 'Look, it's just, just a story in the paper and anyone who's doing well is going to get linked to a team'."
Robinson, who has made 29 appearances for Fulham this season, is instead focused on helping the Whites achieve a top-seven finish and secure European football
