Raymond Verheijen a long-time critic of Jurgen Klopp has claimed he was right about Klopp, while praising Slot.
Verheijen was a former player forced to retire at 18 due to chronic injury.
He then started coaching, working with teams like Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona.
He has also worked with the national teams of Wales, Holland, Russia and South Korea.
Verheijen called Klopp’s training a ‘mess’ after the Reds suffered a spate of injuries in 2017.
Verheijen on criticizing Klopp: “I criticised these coaches based on evidence, I always substantiated my criticism with objective, logical arguments and not my subjective opinion.”

Speaking to Flashscore Verheijen had revealed that there would fitness problems for the Liverpool squad.
Liverpool are already without Alisson, and have missed Harvey Elliot for a month.
