Iago Aspas may have not been the greatest striker that the Premier League has ever seen, but he has certainly proven his worth in La Liga after flopping at Liverpool.
The Spanish forward joined Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool side in the 2013 summer transfer window for an approximate fee of £7.7million (€10.8m).
This move to the Premier League came after a successful 2012/13 campaign with Celta Vigo, where he scored 12 goals and assisted eight times in all competitions.
However, Aspas arrived at Anfield with two strikers already in front of him in the pecking order - Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge - and he struggled to replicate his impressive form for the English side.
He made just five starts across the entire season, scoring a solitary goal in the FA Cup third round against then-League One side Oldham Athletic.
Following a dismal debut in the Premier League, he made a loan move to Sevilla while Rodgers added Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli to his ranks, alongside the return of Fabio Borini from a loan move.
Sevilla ended up triggering a clause in the deal to snap him up on a permanent basis for just £4.4m.
"I think that if I'd been at Liverpool this year, I would have played a lot more games, with Sturridge's injury and Suarez not being there."
He spent one season at Sevilla, scoring 10 goals and leading the Copa del Rey as top scorer alongside Neymar - but he was about to return to a familiar haunt.
Sevilla activated the £4.4m (€6m) buy clause in 2015 and then promptly sold him back to his former club, Celta Vigo - and this is where he truly revived his career.
Across 17 total seasons for Vigo, Aspas has scored a whopping 212 goals, assisting 82 times.
In La Liga, the Spaniard has scored 163 goals in 375 total appearances and overtook the iconic Samuel Eto'o, who has 162 goals in 277 appearances, after scoring the winner from the spot against Osasuna on Friday.

Aspas won the Europa League in the 2014/15 season with Sevilla in a 3-2 win over FK Dnipro.
Despite how his Premier League time ended, Aspas holds no grudges against Liverpool or his former manager Rodgers - who now plies his trade at Scottish club Celtic.
Speaking to the Guardion in 2017, the 37-year-old said: "It was their best year for 10, 15 years, they were close to winning the league
