Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has fired a defiant message after their 2-2 draw with Everton.

The centre-back partnered Virgil van Dijk as the Reds conceded a last-gasp equaliser.

The point moved Liverpool seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, ahead of the visit from Wolves this weekend.



The Dutchman and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff were also shown red cards for their protestations after James Tarkowski's 97th-minute equaliser.

In a post on Instagram, Konate said: "It’s all of them against us!!

Let’s be ready for the next challenge Sunday now."

The visit of Vítor Pereira's side is the latest outing for the Reds during a gruelling run which sees Liverpool play five times in just 15 days.

A trip to Aston Villa follows Sunday's encounter before a crucial clash against Manchester City before returning to Anfield to face Newcastle United on Wednesday, February 26.

The Liverpool captain admitted that the draw with Everton was disappointing but the focus quickly switched to Wolves.

He said: “I think the feeling right now is obviously disappointment, that’s pretty obvious, and it will be for today and tonight.

"But from tomorrow we focus on Wolves and we try to get the three points then and so on and so on.

“We all know that we have a lot of games up until the international break so there is no point to dwell too much on this result.
