Ibrahima Konate has been the subject of reports linking him to the likes of PSG and Real Madrid in recent weeks.
ESPN came out with a report last Friday claiming that the Frenchman is keen on playing for the Parisian outfit, while PSG are likewise keen to bring him to the Parc des Prince.
In an interview with Telefoot, as relayed by Foot Mercato, Konate has now affirmed that he is focused on Liverpool and what they could achieve this season:
“Hearing big clubs like that being interested is very flattering, but now I’m focusing on this season; I want to win everything – take as many titles as possible and then everything that happens in relation to my contractual situation.
“It’s my agents, my advisors who take care of that.”
On the possibility of playing PSG in the round of 16:
“It would be nice on a personal level because I come from there, my parents and my family live there, all my friends are there.”
“I grew up with people in Leipzig, and when there was Leipzig-PSG – they were for PSG instead of supporting me even though I grew up with them.”
