Transfer rumours are set to ramp up several notches for Liverpool with the January window only ten days away from opening.
The Reds are trucking along nicely under Arne Slot so far this season, but there’s a feeling that a couple of additions could help to make it a truly special campaign.
There are number of areas of the Liverpool squad in which fans would like to see new signings arrive in.
One of those is potentially in the forward line, where Darwin Nunez’s inconsistency and Diogo Jota’s fitness problems have led to a feeling that Slot may need a new central striker.
With that in mind, one of the players most regularly mentioned in connection to Liverpool has been Omar Marmoush.
The Eintracht Frankfurt player has been in superb form this season and journalist David Ornstein has revealed what he’s expecting to happen with Marmoush.

Marmoush has been one of the most in-form players in all of Europe this season.
The 25-year-old has 18 goals and 11 assists in 23 appearances for Eintracht and has transformed into an excellent all-round attacker.

In terms of Liverpool, there have been claims that the Reds are leading the race for Marmoush ahead of teams such as Bayern Munich.
But speaking on The Athletic’s YouTube channel on Saturday, Ornstein downplayed rumours that Marmoush could end up at Liverpool.

“I can definitely see a move,” the journalist said of the Egyptian more generally.
“There have been reports in the media about Liverpool, I don’t know of that, that’s not information I have.
I’m certainly not aware of conversations on that front.”
At this point, we would be majorly surprised if Marmoush is one of the players Liverpool are seriously tracking for 2025.
It seems that while he may have been on the radar at Anfield, the Egypt international is not going to make the final shortlist.
But with Slot searching for the right forward for his system, it does then beg the question of who the Liverpool head coach could target instead.
Rousing The Kop understands that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nico Williams remain active targets and that both would be more likely signings than Marmoush at this stage.
It’s also understood that Alexander Isak is under consideration by Liverpool as they ponder the right path to take.
