Liverpool kick off their pre-season campaign this week with their first match of the Arne Slot era.



The Reds will face Real Betis in the United States in what will be supporters' first chance to watch the team in action since Jurgen Klopp's departure.

Last week saw Liverpool hold a friendly behind closed doors at the AXA Training Centre against Preston North End, which ended in a 1-0 defeat.

The Reds have now travelled across the Atlantic for three fixtures to step up their preparations for the Premier League campaign.

Slot is the new head coach at Anfield and has been busy assessing his squad over the last few weeks on Merseyside.

Now the 45-year-old will get the chance to see his newly inherited squad on the pitch, starting with the clash against the La Liga outfit.
