Liverpool supporters are hoping that the next five weeks are full to the brim of good news.
The Reds stand on the brink of glory in the Premier League title race, with four more wins all that is needed to get them over the line.
But if the celebrations for a league title win at Anfield are set to be unrivalled, the reaction to Mohamed Salah signing a new Liverpool contract on Friday may run them close.

The news that the Egyptian is staying put was met with joy and relief on Merseyside, with Liverpool supporters not yet ready to wave a tearful goodbye to Mo.
Happiness has also spread to Salah’s former teammates, with Dejan Lovren speaking out to give his reaction on Friday.

Lovren and Salah were best friends during the three years they spent together in the Liverpool squad.
Now playing in Greece with PAOK, Lovren still keeps in touch with Salah as they cultivate what looks to be a lifelong freindship.

And speaking to winwin.com after the news that his old mate will be staying at Liverpool, the Croatian revealed that he had already called Mo to congratulate him.
“The Liverpool board understood they had no other option,” Lovren said.
“I spoke to Salah yesterday and congratulated him on the new contract.
They understood that with his performances and the statistics he’s showing, there was no other option.”

“This is the best decision for him and the best decision for the club’s management,” added the centre-back.
“Now he can enjoy the next two years, and I hope he wins many titles.
I am very happy for him.”
Lovren was not the only former Liverpool player to weigh in on Salah’s new deal on Friday.
After Mo posted on Instagram following the news, former captain Jordan Henderson left his two cents in the comments.

“Never in doubt,” wrote Henderson, with a winking emoji as well as a heart.
Former Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg was also present, leaving a ‘congratulations Legend,’ to the Egyptian King.
The reactions of others will no doubt filter through in the coming days, as everyone connected to the club celebrates retaining a true superstar of the game.
