Jamie Carragher has doubled down on his stance that Alexander Isak should pick a transfer to Liverpool rather than Arsenal if given the choice this summer.

The Newcastle striker has been in superb form this season, and in particular has caught the eye over recent months.

Carragher’s comments come after he insisted that Liverpool would be a more attractive prospect for Isak than Arsenal when speaking on The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet.

"There’s a lot of talk about Isak," Carragher said.

Newcastle would absolutely demand a huge fee for him, and one that would surely make it near-impossible for either Liverpool or Arsenal to get him, given they have other areas that need taking care of
