Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher has taken another dig at Erling Haaland's 'illness' ahead of Liverpool's impending showdown with Manchester City.
Haaland didn't play in the second leg Champions League bout due to what Carragher joked - on CBS Sports - as [Antonio] 'Rudiger-itis.'

When Guardiola was told about Carragher's remark, he answered back saying: "Oh, God.
Jamie Carragher said that?
I don't know why he makes that suspicious - you know that?
"Did he say that Haaland didn't want to play the game?
He had a problem with his knee and he could not play."

On punditry duty - this time for Sky Sports - ahead of the Premier League showdown between the Reds and City, Carragher didn't hold back in sending another dig at Haaland regarding another top defender.
When host David Jones asked Micah Richards whether the Norway striker would be playing, Richards jokingly responded: "Ask Jamie," to which Carragher responded: "Listen, that illness may have carried over to Virgil van Dijk-itis."
Carragher did admit it was all tongue-in-cheek.
