Jamie Carragher has admitted that he would rather scrap Roy Keane than be managed by Gary Neville.
The Liverpool legend was appearing on StillRyan's Still Talking Show on YouTube when he was asked a series of quickfire 'this or that' questions - from who he rated higher between Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola, to choosing between Champions League victory and a career in punditry.
Carragher was unphased by the questions coming his way when Ryan asked him: "Would you rather fight Roy Keane or have Gary Neville as your manager?" With a wry smile, Carragher brought about a chuckle in the studio as he admitted: "I'd rather fight Roy Keane."
Despite never physically coming to blows with the Irishman, Carragher had his fair share of on-field battles with Keane during his Premier League career.
One of the most notorious feuds between the two was seen live on a 2021 instalment of Super Sunday following a 1-1 stalemate between Chelsea and United.
It was Cristiano Ronaldo's second stint with the Red Devils, and Keane was unimpressed at interim boss Michael Carrick's decision to bench him ahead of the fixture and deploy him as a late substitute in the November clash - arguing how the Portuguese great needed to be in the starting 11.
However, Carragher insisted that Keane's observation was "not right" - leading to a four-minute war of words as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink sat awkwardly in the middle of the two, struggling to get a word in edgeways.
The argument only came to a close after David Jones tapped Keane on the leg and said: "Time to go."
However, it appears as though Carragher would take a physical fight with Keane over having to heed to the commands of fellow pundit Neville, whom he has also had his fair share of on-air clashes with over the years(
Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher don't always see eye-to-eye.
He replied: "I think I would be stitched up because you can't separate Roy and Ian [Wright] - so they would definitely room together.
"Which would mean I'd be put with Jamie Carragher, who is definitely the last person I'd want.
