Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher has admitted that he would love Morgan Rogers to join the Reds.
The Aston Villa attacker has emerged as a key player under Unai Emery after his seamless adaptation following a superb spell in the Championship.
The England talent signed a long-term deal at Villa Park from Middlesbrough for an initial £8 million fee, which could rise to £16m.
The North East club banked significant profit on the then-21-year-old having only signed from Manchester City for £1m, six months earlier.

Rogers, who turns 23 in July, had scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in his first 55 games for the Premier League outfit - including seven goals and four assists in 27 top-flight appearances this term, as well as a qualification-securing hat-trick against Celtic in the Champions League.
The midfielder has been a revelation for Villa, establishing himself as a first-team starter under the Spaniard.
"That [Morgan] Rogers is a good player, isn't he?
Do you know what, I'd love him for Liverpool," Carragher admitted, speaking on The Overlap.
Any transfer for Rogers would come at a hefty price for prospective clubs with the midfielder having at least five years remaining on his current deal in the West Midlands.
Liverpool already have a capable midfielder to play behind the lone striker in Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Hungarian has put in a string of impressive performances during the second half of the campaign.
Rogers, 22, has previously discussed his aspirations at Villa, he said: "I like the challenge, sometimes it's difficult, sometimes I don't get it right, it's not perfect.
"The relationship [with Unai Emery] is great, I like he keeps pushing me, on top of me because I want to improve.
