Former Liverpool defender and football pundit Jamie Carragher recently suggested that Liverpool need to sign some players in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to him, the Reds should have at least six new players for different positions in the summer.

While Arne Slot and Liverpool are doing great this season and are just a maximum of 13 points away from guaranteeing their place as Premier League champions, there is a big concern among the club about who will leave at the end of this season.

The Reds signed only two new players in the last two transfer windows under Arne Slot.

So, for Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher came up with a big suggestion for the Liverpool boss.

Carragher said that the Reds need to sign six new players for six different position, including, Left-back, Centre-back, Defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, Left winger, and Centre-forward.

According to this is anfield, he said,

“Liverpool need a left-back to compete with Andy Robertson, extending the Scottish captain’s Anfield career by reducing the necessity for him to play every game.”

The ex-Liverpool defender argued.

“They need a centre-back to ensure there is no crisis if Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are unavailable.

However, it will be clear in the upcoming summer transfer window.
