Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool must make three major signings next summer to improve their starting line-up.
Liverpool currently sit 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League after they beat Manchester City 2-0 on Sunday, while Arsenal suffered a huge 2-0 defeat to West Ham on Saturday.
With just 11 games left to play, Arne Slot's side are on the verge of winning a 20th league title and Carragher believes there are three positions Liverpool will have to strengthen in the transfer window.
"Slot is going to know this squad a lot better going into next season," Carragher said on Sky Sports.
Even if this team is going to win the league, I think there are still three positions in this team that can be improved quite a bit.
It is not about bringing four or five squad players in."
When asked what those three positions were, Carragher added: "I think Liverpool could bring a left-back in, a centre-forward and an attacking midfielder(
I am talking about actually going into the team.
"You would imagine Liverpool would have money to spend because they haven't spent anything in the last couple of years." First-choice left-back Andy Robertson has not been at his best this season and Liverpool have been linked with a number of potential replacements.
