Celtic have caught strays from Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher as he escalated his long-running feud with Tottenham boss Ange Posteocoglou.
The Australian is in the midst of a nightmare Premier League campaign with his injury-ravaged squad crashing out of both the League Cup and FA Cup last week while the North London outfit are looking over their shoulder at the relegation scrap after plunging to 14th in the table.
The Europa League has offered some respite for the former Hoops' boss - but it has failed to win over Carragher.
Postecoglou has previously clamped the Anfield fan favourite and Sky Sports pundit earlier in the campaign - branding some of his comments over the style of play adopted by the Premiership title-winner "offensive".
He wrote: "Postecoglou’s staunchest supporters will argue that to lose so many key players at the same time is bad luck, and their coach is a victim of circumstance.
"The number of absentees is obviously a mitigating factor, and explains why there are many who are standing by Postecoglou, including, most crucially, the Tottenham board.
Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou celebrates with the trophy after the match.
It is valid and fair to ask whether Tottenham – or indeed any side – can be expected to adopt such a full-throttle approach without the physiotherapy department working overtime.
"And there is a reason why this is more apparent in the Premier League than at Postecoglou’s previous clubs.
Postecoglou and his Manchester United opponent this weekend, Ruben Amorim, face the same issue because they built their reputation in a league where they can dominate the ball.
