Jamie Carragher has joked he needs to "have a word" with Micah Richards after he claimed Myles Lewis-Skelly's red card was the worst decision he'd ever seen.

Arsenal have since successfully overturned the decision and Riccardo Calafiori's strike in the second-half meant Arsenal still managed to secure the three points.

Carragher didn't see the decision live but was quick to clock the reaction on social media.

Alan Shearer, like Richards, claimed it was one of the most bizarre reds he'd seen, but when the ex-Liverpool man saw the highlights later he was somewhat surprised by the reaction.

I could see the reaction on social media and I heard someone on the radio on the way home saying it was the worst decision he’s ever seen.
