Jamie Carragher claims Mohamed Salah has been the Premier League’s best player - and picked out Tottenham as the division's most disappointing team.
The former Liverpool star has seen his fair share of games this term as part of his role as one of Sky Sports’ star pundits.
And it was no surprise to hear who he selected as his player of the season, as without hesitation he said Liverpool forward Salah.
While having not quite matched the lofty heights of last term, he still has 14 goals and six assists in the league, with Carragher naming the 22-year-old as his young player of the season.
Jamie Carragher has selected Mo Salah as his player of the season so far.
He selected Liverpool’s 6-3 win against Spurs back in December as his game of the season - Luis Diaz and Salah notching braces, while Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai also scored in what was a dominant display.
Jamie Carragher’s award winners so far:
Best player: Mo Salah
Young player: Cole Palmer
Best manager: Andoni Iraola
Surprise Package: Nottingham Forest
Most disappointing team: Tottenham
Best goal: Jhon Duran vs Everton
Best transfer: Nikola Milenkovic to Nottingham Forest
Best game: Tottenham 3-6 Liverpool
