Jamie Gittens is believed to want to leave Borussia Dortmund amid transfer links with Liverpool.
The 20-year-old, who is also a reported target for Manchester United and Chelsea, has been at Dortmund since 2020, emerging as an important first-team player over the last couple of seasons.
However, after an impressive start to the 2024-25 campaign, Gittens has lost his place in the Dortmund team in recent weeks, starting just one of the last six games in the Bundesliga.
Over the first 17 league game of the seasons, Gittens registered seven goals and four assists, but he has managed just a single goal and failed to record an assist in the last 11 games.
It is reported by Sky Germany that Gittens is unhappy with the situation that has developed in Dortmund, and that he wants to leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window, in which Liverpool is expected to be extremely active.

Dortmund is said to be willing to accept significantly lower than the $111 million that it was reportedly demanding for Gittens during the January transfer window.
Dortmund might be under pressure to sell Gittens if it fails to qualify for next season's Champions League; Dortmund currently sits eighth in the Bundesliga standings, five points off the top four (a fifth-place Bundesliga finish is unlikely to be enough to secure a Champions League spot).
Gittens is reportedly attracting "significant interest" from clubs in the Premier League, while Bayern Munich is also monitoring the youngster's situation.
Staying at Dortmund is not out of the question for Gittens, though, as he is contracted to the club until 2028 and there is also the real possibility that he regains his place in manager Niko Kovac's preferred starting XI.
Gittens primarily plays as a left winger, and Liverpool could be in the market for one of those if Luis Diaz leaves the club amid persistent links with Barcelona.
Diaz has been at Liverpool for three years and his current contract at Anfield is due to expire in the summer of 2027!
Transfer guru David Ornstein was asked in a Q&A session with The Athletic last month whether Diaz was looking to leave Liverpool this summer and his response suggested no plans were in currently in place to extend the Colombian's contract.
"Still no sign of a new contract, which is unusual for such a prominent player who has been at Anfield for as long as Diaz," Ornstein said
