Anfield hero John Barnes has admitted that he does not see Jurgen Klopp taking the England job as he weighed up the leading candidates to take over from Gareth Southgate.

Speaking to Ladbrokes, the former England winger admitted that he would choose former Liverpool boss Klopp for the vacancy, while admitting that he does not envisage the German accepting an offer.
He said: "My number one choice for the England job is simple; it's Jurgen Klopp.
"But he's not getting the job, because he's not going to take the job.
