Rumoured Liverpool target Joshua Kimmich has been urged to reject Premier League interest in favour of staying at Bayern Munich beyond this season.
Kimmich, 30, has spent his entire youth and senior career in Germany having initially progressed through the ranks at Stuttgart.
In 2015, he was signed by Bundesliga giants Bayern for an undisclosed fee and has since gone on to win several league titles, as well as the Champions League.
The midfielder last signed a contract extension in 2021 and that deal is set to expire this summer.
As of yet, no breakthrough in negotiations has been found and Kimmich is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of Germany.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid are among the top European clubs credited with interest in the player, although former Bayern star and 1990 Ballon d'Or winner Lothar Matthaus believes Kimmich should reject any approach in favour of extending his stay in Bavaria.
The 63-year-old wrote in his column for Sky in Germany: "At Bayern, the pending contract extension with Joshua Kimmich is currently the biggest problem.
Kimmich has to make a decision.
"There is no more grey, only black or white.
Since I have known Bayern, they have rarely waited as long for players as they have now for Kimmich.
Now the time has come to make a decision.
"I don’t know what Kimmich is still waiting for, what little details are involved.
