With Conor Bradley not yet ready to start and Trent Alexander-Arnold still injured, Curtis Jones was asked to go again.
After a struggle of a first-half for Jones, though, Bradley was introduced during the second-half.
The Northern Irishman made a real difference when he came on, grabbing an assist for Luis Diaz.

“Might be a trick of the light but I reckon Conor Bradley has bulked up a bit recently (in a good way!)” said the journalist.
Jones did well against Everton on Wednesday, but this was not the game for Slot to put him in again for.

Nevertheless, there was not a great deal more he could really have done.
Bradley made a huge difference and questions have to be asked why he did not come on immediately at half-time.
The Northern Ireland international could do with beefing up a little in fairness, and he showed on Sunday that if he can add a little more physicality to his game, he’s pretty much got it all.
