Jurgen Klopp was left less than enamoured with the state of the Anfield dressing rooms upon joining the Reds as manager.
The German was enticed to Anfield following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers in October 2015, and would go on to oversee a hugely successful period that brought Premier League and Champions League glory as well as the FA Cup, two League Cups and the Club World Cup.
Anfield would also become transformed during Klopp's time as manager, with renovations to the Main Stand and Anfield Road end seeing the capacity of the famous old ground grow from under 45,000 to over 61,000 by the time of Klopp's departure at the end of last season.

In a new four-part Amazon Prime Video documentary series, 'Doubters To Believers Liverpool FC: Klopp’s Era' the former Reds boss reflects on how he cut short a holiday after leaving Borussia Dortmund in 2015 to take over on Merseyside.
Klopp had managed Dortmund at Anfield in a pre-season friendly in the summer of 2014, and says while he wasn't prepared for the scrutiny that would come with taking the Reds job, he also wasn't ready for what would await him at his new home on Merseyside.

Jurgen Klopp wasn't too pleased with the Anfield dressing rooms upon his arrival.
"There's all these crazy things, like people track the plane and stuff like that, and you don't have this idea of yourself or that people could be interested in a football manager flying into a country," says Klopp in the documentary.
"In the same moment I was really disappointed because I realised 'Oh my god, I forgot that the dressing rooms are really bad!' And I don't like bad dressing rooms."
Klopp would famously declare that he wanted to turn Liverpool's fanbase from 'doubters to believers' during his introductory press conference, while he also promised that the club would win a title in the next four seasons.
