Jurgen Klopp has spoken in glowing terms about Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with Liverpool reportedly interested in the winger.
The Georgia international's future has been heavily speculated on this month, with the Reds rumoured as a potential suitor for the player.
While it's believed that Paris Saint-Germain are in pole position to secure Kvaratskhelia's signature, Liverpool are thought to have held a long standing interest in the tricky winger after the Napoli star caught Klopp's attention when the Reds played the Italian outfit in the Champions League group stage in 2022.
Kvaratskhelia put in a stirring performance in the game at Anfield that culminated with a nutmeg on Trent Alexander-Arnold with just one minute gone.

While Liverpool won the game 2-0, Klopp was effusive in his praise for the forward.
Not only are the Reds well stocked in attacking positions, with Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota all options for Arne Slot on the left flank alone, the Liverpool boss dampened reports linking Kvaratskheli with a switch to Merseyside.
"When you said yourself 'linked with', I was thinking: 'Which club is he going to say now?' But you mean as a club we are linked with Kvaratskhelia," Slot said in a pre-match press conference last week.
"What I make of that is that this is January and I think I said it after the West Ham United game [to journalists], please don't disappoint me, please come up with all these players and all these clubs that are in the interest of us.

However talks over a new deal at Napoli have yet to reach a conclusion, and it's believed he has now issued a transfer request to the Serie A side.
The Italian giants are expected to demand a fee upwards of £70million and PSG are yet to meet that figure, instead attempting to offer players in part-exchange.
However, the longer Kvaratskhelia stays in Napoli, there's always a chance Liverpool could make a move for a player that's been of interest to club bosses for quite some time.
