Upon his arrival at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp was somewhat taken aback by the state of the Anfield locker rooms.
In the revealing Amazon Prime Video four-part documentary series 'Doubters To Believers Liverpool FC: Klopp's Era,' Klopp reminisces about how he cut a holiday short after leaving Borussia Dortmund in 2015 to take charge on Merseyside.
Recalling a 2014 pre-season friendly with Dortmund at Anfield, he admits that despite anticipating the intense focus associated with managing Liverpool, he was unprepared for the surprises that awaited him at his new home
"There's all these crazy things, like people track the plane and stuff like that, and you don't have this idea of yourself or that people could be interested in a football manager flying into a country," reflects Klopp in the documentary.

"In the same moment I was really disappointed because I realized 'Oh my god, I forgot that the dressing rooms are really bad!' And I don't like bad dressing rooms."
His promise to shift supporters from 'doubters to believers' became famous during his initial press briefing, along with his vow of bringing a title to Anfield within four years
Reflecting on Klopp's start at Liverpool, Jamie Carragher noted in the documentary: "Liverpool had been in the doldrums for a few years, and Jurgen in his first press conference declared that they were going to win a title in four years, but I'm not sure everyone believed him!"
