Jurgen Klopp has previously made his admiration of Thomas Tuchel clear - with his countryman now becoming England manager.

Klopp had been touted as a potential successor to Gareth Southgate, but he turned down the chance to take on the role.

Tuchel previously was in charge of Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.



The duo also faced each other during Tuchel's time at Chelsea, while Klopp was Liverpool manager.

"It will be great to see Thomas Tuchel again, having met three times already during this campaign," Klopp told the FA website.

Tuchel is set to be announced as England's new manager on Wednesday.

And the striker has joined Klopp in sharing his admiration of Tuchel's talents as a manager.
