Liverpool are on the cusp of their second-ever Premier League title with the Reds leading against Tottenham at half-time.
Despite going 1-0 down thanks to former striker Dominic Solanke, Liverpool reasserted their dominance against Tottenham with two quick-fire goals from Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister before Cody Gakpo made it 3-1 for the hosts.
With Gary Neville predicting Liverpool to dominate against Tottenham this afternoon, the pundit’s prediction is coming off in a big way, with the north London side rolling over for the Premier League champions-elect.
And Neville was impressed by one tactical decision Arne Slot made that allowed Liverpool to run riot against Tottenham.

Speaking on Sky Sports coverage of the match, the former Manchester United captain was full of praise for Liverpool’s midfield set-up, with Tottenham unable to match the trio in the centre of the park despite their promising start.
Mac Allister’s wondergoal put Liverpool ahead with the Argentine midfielder pulling the strings for the Reds, with Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai also in fine form as the hosts head into the break with a comfortable lead.
And Neville was impressed with what he saw, with the pundit saying: “What we’re seeing from Liverpool’s midfield three, they’re making lovely little runs in behind.

“They’re trying to hold the line against the front three but the midfield are the ones penetrating through.
Lucas Bergvall needs to get a grip on the midfield because Arne Slot’s men have got it worked out perfectly.”
Liverpool’s midfield ran the show against Tottenham, yet it was Mac Allister who was the most impressive, with the former Brighton & Hove Albion man firing the hosts ahead and controlling the tempo expertly across the pitch.
And Neville was blown away by Mac Allister’s goal against Tottenham, with the Liverpool no.
10 once again showing why he has been a revelation in the midfield under Slot and one of the best players in the Premier League this season.
Neville said: “What a signing he’s been Mac Allister and what a goal.
Liverpool’s midfield three have been outstanding and that is an absolute showstopper from the Argentinian.
