Liverpool are gearing up for the most pivotal period in the 2024/25 season in which they are charging towards their 20th league title.

With Premier League matches against Everton, Fulham, West Ham and Leicester City to come over the next few weeks, every win will be crucial in ensuring Arne Slot's side end the season with silverware.

However, as the international break draws to a close, the Reds boss has been handed some fresh injury concerns.

Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley are the longer-term absentees.

The former has been sidelined for most of the season but briefly returned to action in February before he sustained a fresh hamstring problem, while Bradley also suffered a fresh injury last month and isn't expected to return imminently.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was added to the injury list during the Champions League round of 16 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield and missed the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United as a result.

While he isn't expected to miss the rest of the season at this stage, he does face a race against time to feature for the Reds again before his contract expires in the summer.

The latest injury concerns centre around Alisson Becker and Ryan Gravenberch.

As per concussion protocol, he will miss their meeting with Argentina this week and has returned to Merseyside to continue rehabilitation.

On a positive note, with Liverpool's Premier League meeting against Everton still over a week away, there is little concern he will still be sidelined for that fixture.

The goalkeeper himself shared a promising update on Instagram over the weekend: "Hey guys, just to let you know I'm fine!

Thanks for the messages."

Gravenberch, on the other hand, withdrew from the Netherlands squad following their first Nations League quarter-final meeting with Spain.

It was confirmed by his national team that he was still suffering from an injury sustained during the cup final against Newcastle.

Reports in recent days suggest his withdrawal was only precautionary and he is not expected to miss any of the run-in.

However, Slot will likely provide a more concrete update on the midfielder's fitness ahead of next week's clash with Everton at Anfield.
