Linda Pizzuti Henry celebrated Liverpool beating Manchester City from afar(Image: MediaNews Group via Getty Images)
Linda Pizzuti Henry marked Liverpool winning away against Manchester City for the first time in approaching a decade with a celebratory Instagram post after the match.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring after a well-worked set-piece led to Dominik Szoboszlai flicking Alexis Mac Allister's corner into the unmarked Egyptian's path to fire in the first-time finish, albeit aided by a significant deflection off Nathan Ake's outstretched left boot.
Salah returned his team-mate's favour before half-time, cutting inside from the right wing after Trent Alexander-Arnold played him behind the City defence to tee up Szoboszlai for the second.
Pizzuti Henry shared a collage of the group huddles after both goals, plus the one pre-match alongside an image of Virgil van Dijk raising his clenched right fist during the post-match celebrations.
She also included a screenshot of the Premier League table, showing the 11-point gap Liverpool now have ahead of Arsenal.
Her third and final image shows Salah raising his left fist after scoring his 30th goal across all competitions this season.
Pizzuti Henry's caption read: "3 points at Man City.
11 points clear at the top of the table....
What a season for the reds."
It is the first time she has posted since the 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final.
After that night at Anfield, Pizzuti Henry captioned her post: "4-0 win, and we are going back to Wembley to take on Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final!"
The only other time she has posted about a match since the turn of the year was after the 2-0 away win against Brentford.
