Lionel Messi has liked an Instagram post celebrating Mohamed Salah’s contract with a special focus on the watch he wore for the contract photoshoot.

Liverpool FC officially announced on Friday that their star forward has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the club beyond the 2024-25 season.

According to reports, Salah’s new deal will see him earn £400,000  per week, marking a £50,000 increase from his previous salary of £350,000.

The Egyptian has been in sensational form for Arne Slot’s side this season, scoring 32 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.

In the Premier League alone, Salah leads the scoring charts with 27 goals while also providing 17 assists.
