Liverpool FC’s highly anticipated return to Adidas has been officially confirmed, with the club announcing a lucrative multi-year partnership with the German sportswear giant earlier this month.

The deal, reportedly worth over £60 million per season in a five-year agreement potentially totaling £300 million, will see Liverpool sporting the iconic three stripes for the third time in the club’s illustrious history when it commences on August 1, 2025.

This reunion marks the end of Liverpool’s five-year relationship with Nike and rekindles a partnership that previously flourished during two successful periods from 1985 to 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012.

Each of the three kits will feature a different club crest, with the design around the Liverbird distinct from the home, away, and alternate strips.

The 2025/26 home kit will retain the classic Liverbird emblem standalone that we are customed to seeing.

For the away kit, fans will see a variation with the Liverbird placed inside a shield design.

Perhaps most intriguing is the third kit design, which will showcase a modern reinterpretation of Liverpool’s early 1990s badge.

This nostalgic element pairs perfectly with another exclusive feature—the Adidas Trefoil logo, which will appear on the third kit, described as ‘Sea Green’ in color.

The Trefoil is a prestigious emblem that Adidas reserves only for its elite partner clubs.

The Trefoil logo replaces the normal adidas one.

The partnership will officially commence on July 1, 2025, with the first Adidas Liverpool kits expected to be released immediately as the contract begins.
