Good evening and welcome to a special live blog from the Liverpool ECHO, as tonight may be the night Liverpool FC are crowned Premier League champions.
With five fixtures left to play in an unimaginable first campaign under new head coach Arne Slot, the Reds have amassed a total of 79 points so far.
Their closest chasers, Arsenal, then follow a considerable 13 points behind.
So, as things stand, only three points are needed to settle the matter once and for all.
This ultimately means if Mikel Arteta's side are beaten by Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium tonight (KO 8:00pm), the title race is over and Liverpool will have become English champions for a record-equalling 20th time in their history.
If the Gunners win or they are even held to a draw, the fight continues.
Thankfully, this at least leaves the Reds to settle their own fate with Sunday, April 27's fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield falling before Arsenal are scheduled to play again.
Stay with the ECHO right here, as we bring you updates at this critical time in the Premier League title race, including key events from Arsenal vs Palace and possible reactions from Liverpool's stars.
