Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez is having a fantastic season and is seemingly high on The Reds’ radar to bolster their options at full-back as Arne Slot looks to evolve his side after a first year in situ at Anfield.
Having played all of Bournemouth’s league games last season and featuring 28 times last term, the Hungarian international has become a mainstay in a side that is having an exceptional season.
The 21-year-old is a similar profile of player to Fulham star Antoinee Robinson with a large attacking impetus driving the ball forward and working well with the Cherries wingers, who have scored 32 goals this season.

Like Robinson, he fits the profile of what the Reds are looking for – somebody who is defensively sound but offers that threat from the back epitomising a modern full-back who is capable of playing at the top level.
Again he is going to be another expensive buy, with Bournemouth in a position of leverage given the Hungarian has three and a half years left on his current contract but Liverpool are likely to be given the funds to recruit in areas of priority.
He reportedly is quoted at just shy of £50 million, with other clubs interested Liverpool would like to be quick to agree to any deal as other big sides are likely to want to swoop in early on.

Well, if Liverpool do need any further proof of Kerkez’s credentials then they’re likely to get it this weekend at the Vitality Stadium.
Whilst there are multiple options for the position, one thing is for certain and that is a left-back is likely to be high on the agenda for the recruitment team this summer.
Albeit both Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas continue to perform admirably, Owen Beck, Calum Scanlon and Luke Chambers will all stake their own claim, it seems almost certain that the left-back role will be freshened up somehow.
