Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen is reportedly giving himself a month to decide on his future - but wants to stay in the Premier League next season.

The youngster has become one of the most sought-after talents in football after dazzling for the Cherries this season.

Huijsen has started 21 games in the Premier League, scoring twice and assisting once, with his commanding displays in defence turning heads across the division.

Liverpool have been rumoured to be leading the race to sign him but he also has interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

But despite Huijsen being chased by a number of top clubs around the world, the player has made it clear he wants to stay in England after enjoying a superb breakout year at the Vitality Stadium, according to Spanish outlet Relevo.

Huijsen, who recently picked up his first cap for the Spanish national team, is not making any rushed decisions over his future, however, and wants to take the next month mulling things over, it goes on to say.

The report adds that Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all willing to pay Huijsen's £50million buyout clause this summer, so he should have a pick of the clubs before making his next move.

Snubbing Madrid would be a huge move from Huijsen, despite his affinity with the club after spending some time in their youth set up.

Carlo Ancelotti's men are eager to find new young talent in defence amid concerns over the ageing David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger.

The report claims Madrid is a dream destination for Huijsen but at his young age he will be keen to play as much regular football as possible and will be eager to pick a club that offers him guaranteed first team action.

It adds that Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the player, with Vincent Kompany in the market for a new young defender, but it says the German outfit are outsiders to lure him to the Bundesliga.

Even though Madrid aren't favoured by Huijsen, they are still continuing to monitor the player - but are reluctant to spend as much as Bournemouth are quoting for his release clause.

Huijsen's final decision "shouldn't be long away", it continues, adding that Huijsen is "grateful" to Bournemouth for providing him a platform to showcase his talents but he knows his time on the South Coast is coming to an end.
