Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly decided against pursuing a move for Adam Wharton, with Real Madrid now interested in the Crystal Palace star.
Injury problems have limited Wharton to just nine Premier League starts so far this season, but he has impressed since joining Palace from Blackburn Rovers last year.
Manchester City are also said to have considered signing Wharton in the January transfer window, but he was out injured at the time and they ultimately signed Nico Gonzalez from Porto instead.
"Everybody knows what Adam can do - but we have to be patient," Glasner said after Wharton made his first league start since October in Palace's 4-1 win over Aston Villa last week.
Wharton has impressed since joining Crystal Palace last year.
"I'm feeling good, which is always good," Wharton said.
