A former Liverpool striker has aired his grievances over the patchy form shown by Marcus Rashford for Aston Villa following their Champions League quarter-final exit.

The 27-year-old had a shaky start to the second leg on Tuesday at Villa Park before he turned up the heat in the second half.
Saunders also criticised Emery for leaving England striker Ollie Watkins out of the starting XI again in favour of the Manchester United loanee.
It marked the third consecutive fixture Rashford has been chosen over Watkins, even though he boasts an impressive tally of 15 goals and 12 assists across all competitions this.
Saunders also voiced his opinion that Watkins is the sole Villa player that could break into the team at Liverpool or Manchester City.
Sharing his thoughts on talkSPORT, he said: "Rashford was poor at PSG, and I was thinking that you can't go there with 10 men.
He's probably their best player, and probably the only player they've got that would get into Liverpool and Man City's teams.

"To not start in that game, I'd be gutted if I was him.
So we are happy with him and he's happy with us this is important with the process we have."
