What is the new Anfield capacity?
As reported on the club’s official site, Anfield is set to welcome fans with an upgraded capacity of 61,276 for the 2024-25 campaign.
This will mark a new era for the iconic stadium and the fans.
At a cost of a £60million expansion project of the Anfield Road Stand, the stadium’s capacity has propelled beyond 60,000.
The 60,000 mark was first achieved in the latter half of last season.
This allowed Liverpool to shatter their previous attendance records on multiple occasions, with the highest recorded attendance of 60,090 fans occurring during the April showdown with Crystal Palace.
As the Reds prepare for the new season, that milestone is expected to be surpassed again, with the updated capacity promising an even more electrifying atmosphere at Anfield.
