Liverpool have frozen general admission and season ticket prices for next season after two years of increases.

And the Reds have vowed to also address ongoing issues with the online purchasing of tickets after concerns were raised by supporters.

Liverpool have taken the decision to keep prices the same despite citing significant increases in Anfield matchday operating costs - which have increased by 80% in less than a decade - and continued rises in the cost of football operations in general.

The club held discussions with its official Supporters Board on ticket prices having ramped up the cost of attending home games by 2% for each of the last two campaigns.

And freezing prices means the most expensive season ticket inside Anfield remains the £904 for an adult in the Main Stand, with the cheapest adult season ticket costing £713 in the Kop.

For general admission, the prices range from £61 per game in the Main Stand down to £30 in the Anfield Road End.

The prices on the Kop continue to see £39 as the cheapest ticket and £45 as the most expensive.

Junior ticket prices will remain at £9 for the 10th successive season while local tickets, which have been available to those with a Liverpool postcode since the 2016/17 campaign, also stay at the same price.

Liverpool sent a survey out to 500,000 supporters last October - all of whom were on the club's ticketing database - asking for their views, with 62,000 responding.

The main issues that emerged were access to tickets and the online purchasing process, with the club now set to start discussions with its Supporters Board on developing a range of ticketing policy changes during next season and beyond.
