Liverpool has discovered its possible route to the Champions League final and could face Arsenal in a showdown en route to Munich.

In fact, Liverpool could face two English sides after the draw on Friday confirmed Aston Villa and Arsenal are on the same side of the fixture bracket.

The Reds were paired against Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16, a difficult tie given the French champions sit top of Ligue 1 and secured passage to the knockout stages with a resounding 10-0 aggregate win over Brest.

The last-16 ties will be played on 4/5 and 11/12 March, with details to be confirmed later on Friday.

The winner of that tie will face Aston Villa or Club Brugge in the quarter-finals.

That includes Arsenal and their last-16 opponent PSV Eindhoven.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid - who meet in the last-16 - are the other possible semi-final opponents.
