Liverpool is interested in signing Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso this summer as a possible replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, claims reports in Italy.
That may not be the case this summer, though, with Gazzetta dello Sport stating the full-back could be sold in order to bail Juventus out of its financial issues.
Gazzetta states terms had been agreed between the player and City earlier this year but Juventus hopes to entice a bidding war between several of Europe’s top clubs this summer, with a sale in the region of €60M (£50M/$64M).
