Liverpool-linked Teun Koopmeiners has reportedly set his sights on a move across Serie A to Juventus.



The 26-year-old Atalanta midfielder has faced speculation over his future in Bergamo with clubs seemingly targeting the midfielder - months after winning the Europa League.

Juventus are said to be the Dutchman's chosen destination despite reported interest from Merseyside.

New Liverpool head coach Arne Slot worked with the midfielder during their time at Feyenoord, where he made 58 appearances, and has been mooted with a reunion as the Reds boss looks to complete his first piece of business.

The Reds are keeping their options open with a defensive addition a possibility as well as Wataru Endo's admission that another midfield arrival is required.

Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that a move to Juventus is in the summer plans of Koopmeiners.

The proposed move has dragged on throughout the summer, but it has been claimed that Koopmeiners isn't in a hurry, nor are Juventus, while there has been no competition overseas amid reports Liverpool were front runners.

Atalanta, who defeated Liverpool on their path to their historic Europa League triumph, are reportedly holding firm on their valuation of the midfielder.

It has been suggested that the Bergamo club wants €60million (£50m) for his services, with a view to lower the sum to €55million (£46m), but claims suggest that €40million (£33.5m) is the minimum investment.

Meanwhile, a fresh claim has been made by Fabrizio Romano as it has been reported that Juventus will send an official bid to Atalanta following the sale of Matias Soule - with Leicester City and AS Roma interest.
