Jamie Carragher thinks Slot does not trust Chiesa to start for Liverpool, which has been shown by the Italian’s tally of just three starts.
Despite his limited gametime, Chiesa has racked up impressive stats providing a goal contribution every 97 minutes this season.
With this in mind, Liverpool fans have come to the defence of Chiesa, criticising Slot’s treatment of the former Juventus man.

I like Slot but there has been times when I believe he has made the wrong decision.”
A third fan said: “Great attitude, clearly has ability but Slot and team can’t find a way to get him a rhythm with the core first team squad.
