Liverpool fans are celebrating on Sunday after becoming English champions for the 20th time.
The Reds needed just a point from their game against Tottenham to ensure that Arsenal could no longer catch them.
In the end, Liverpool took all three.
Despite an early setback from a Dominic Solanke goal, Arne Slot’s men roared to life to win the game.
Long before all of that, though, there had been a huge party starting around Anfield from early morning.
The Liverpool bus received a raucous reception and that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Reds fans were ready to party.
And as supporters made their way into the stadium, a new banner was noticed being unfurled on the Kop.

With Liverpool confirmed as Premier League champions, supporters are ready to laud their team all summer long.
Slot will take plenty of the praise and perhaps we’ll see a new banner unveiled adorning the face of the Liverpool head coach in time.

For now, though, the new flag looks like an ode to captain Virgil van Dijk.
When signing his new contract recently, Van Dijk went with the beautifully chosen slogan ‘It was always Liverpool.’

And as spotted by journalist James Pearce, that was exactly the message the Kop chose to display as kick-off neared against Tottenham.
“New banner on the Kop: “It was always Liverpool,” wrote Pearce.
Before the game, Van Dijk had issued a rallying cry to Liverpool supporters to urge them into wearing red in the remaining fixtures at Anfield.
Although there was some bizarre pushback from certain sections of the fanbase, most listened to the captain and answered the call on Sunday.
Anfield looked resplendent in red and with the Kop unveiling the new banner, it was a quiet nod to the fact that Van Dijk is the true main man at the club these days.
Now a Premier League winning captain, the calls that the Dutchman is in fact the best centre-back in the division’s history will become louder once again.
Ask those on the Kop, there’s only one answer to that.
