Former Liverpool star Mark Lawrenson has warned the club he expects Alisson to move on at the end of the season.
Alisson was the Reds' saviour on Wednesday night against Paris Saint-Germain, making save after save to keep Luis Enrique's side from scoring.
“I have this feeling that the reason Liverpool have brought in Giorgi Mamardashvili is because Alisson is going to leave in the summer," the 67-year-old told Paddy Power.
"I have a feeling that he’ll want to leave, which will leave Caoimhin Kelleher and Mamardashvili fighting for the number one spot.
“Alisson is now 32 years old, so I think he’ll be looking for one final big payday before he retires.
Every team in the world will want Alisson, so if Liverpool can get big money for him, then it works for all parties.”
In 2024, Alisson admitted being "a little bit attracted" after seeing the financial figures mentioned in connection with the Saudi Pro League, but expressed a desire to honour his Liverpool contract.
I am really focused on the things we have here at Liverpool and while I still have my contract here, I will be focused here.”
